Dubai Economy Council has set new valet parking rules, as the government eased the lockdown in the Emirate. The valet parking staff must:
- Replace their gloves and clean their hands after each service
- Wear defensive face shields when they meet with the customer
- Wear masks and gloves all the time
The new valet parking rules also demand staff to employ disposable covers for seats and steering wheels. The staff must use disinfectant wipes to clean the steering wheel, gear stick, and any other area they come in contact with. Moreover, the staff must turn on the AC while keeping the doors and windows open before handing over the vehicle to the customer. This will ensure proper ventilation in the vehicle.
Every valet staff will endure temperature screening before they join the duty. The rules say, the staff members who feel Coronavirus symptoms should not come to work.
The parking areas will also undergo consistent sanitization, the update outlines.
