To meet customers’ growing demand in the GCC countries and boost support for its retailers, PEUGEOT has restructured its sales model. In this regard, the company has appointed Yury Duzhnikov as its new Head of Sales for PEUGEOT Passenger Vehicles in the GCC. On the other hand, Hesham Amer will take care of the business-to-business operations, working as the Head of Fleet and Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales.

Of course, to improve sales of the passenger vehicles like 208 and 508 (both of which have won awards recently) as well as make the brand a top player in the GCC LCV market, PEUGEOT needs new and updated models. While the French auto firm is already offering some exciting models, this year they want to restructure their sales model by introducing the compact 2008 SUV and the sporty 508 GT.

Talking about the interiors, PEUGEOT cars deliver improved driver experience through facilities like i-Cockpit. This system allows drivers to customize and configure the head-up digital display. The compact steering wheel with integrated controls and an electric automatic gearbox make these cars fun to drive.

Rakesh Nair, Managing Director at Groupe PSA in the GCC, stated: “As PEUGEOT continues its growth in the region, our main focus is to ensure we meet the ever-changing demands of our customers. With these appointments and a refreshed SUV line-up in 2021, PEUGEOT can now focus on passenger vehicles, along with the entire showroom experience. We also hope to build on the success of our LCV range in 2019, becoming one of the top performers in the region. I am confident that both Yury and Hesham can help to expand our footprint focusing on separate retail and fleet segments of the business as the industry begins to emerge from the current crisis.”

Yury Duzhnikov comes to join the company with 10 years of automotive experience at its back. He is tasked to improve sales and customer relationships through efficiency and better management.
