Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has made the decision to restart Dubai Metro, Bus, and Taxi services in the Emirate from Sunday. All the services will operate on their normal fares and travelers need to take preventive measures. These include wearing a mask and keep a safe distance from others.
The taxi service will also operate at its normal rate and will observe the limit of two passengers in the back seat. Every taxi will have an isolator between the driver and the travelers.
As authorities have resumed Dubai Metro, bus, and taxi services, the free parking grace period has ended. From Sunday, public parking facilities will work on their normal fares.
While these services operate, the RTA will make sure all buses and taxis are cleaned on a daily basis.
The ease in lockdown doesn’t mean the residents are now free to move as normal. They need to follow the safety guidelines; otherwise, these facilities can be locked again.
