The world’s premium tire and automotive manufacturer, Continental has introduced a resilient SportContact 6 tire that is perfect for luxury limousines and sports cars. Recently, two of the German’s most famous automotive magazines, AutoBild and SportAuto conducted a series of tests in the hot summer of the Middle East and honored the tire with “Exemplary” and “Outstanding” ratings respectively.

The Continental’s SportContact 6 employs Black Chili tech that offers the greatest grip in all directions for an unforgettable driving experience. Moreover, it uses Aralon350™ that is a new adaptive hybrid cap ply delivering the best stability for up to 350km/h of sprints.

The “exemplary” score was given for sports cars. The magazine says it is “a top-class sports tire delivering precision steering, sporty-dynamic handling and short braking distances in dry conditions, stable lateral guidance in the wet and good resistance to aquaplaning.” The magazine conducted eight tests in different regulations driving an AMG C 63 and in all examinations, the tires were rated “good” or “very good”.

AutoBild says we should never base our decision on buying a tire on price. The experts also used cheap tires and found they have “dangerously long braking distances on wet and dry roads”.
