Log in to the RTA app, Dubai Drive app or open this page to Renew Vehicle Registration. Click on “start vehicle renewal process.” Search your vehicle by giving its plate number, vehicle category, and vehicle code. Once you find your vehicle, pick the delivery method, which should be “online”. Confirm the “details” and “pay” for the renewal. The registration fee of a light passenger car is Dh380. If you are renewing the vehicle after the registration expiry, you have to pay the fine.
During the current situation, RTA is only allowing ‘e-Vehicle License’, so you cannot get a physical registration card. “Due to the current situation, ‘e-Vehicle License’ is the only available delivery method. Physical registration card printing is not needed.”
Once you make the payment, click on “print vehicle license” to get your car registration document.
