In order to curb the spread of Coronavirus among commuters, RTA Dubai is taking several measures. In this regard, the authority sent a directive to transport and bus rental firms, which calls off the use of minibuses on Dubai roads. This step is vital to implement social distancing in Dubai and is part of the health and safety precautionary measures set by the Roads and Transport Authority.
Apart from that, RTA has also changed operational hours for Metro, Buses, and Taxis. The Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram will run for 12 hours in a day – 7am to 7pm, however, some hospital routes will be operational from 8pm to 6am as well.
