The fans of Audi E-Tron eagerly waiting for extra oomph would be happy to know that the automaker has released two performance-focused models – The E-Tron S and E-Tron S Sportback. Both these models generate 50 hp more than the regular E-Tron in typical driving conditions. Talking about the performance figures, the E-Tron S crossovers generate 405 hp and 808 Nm of torque compared to the regular model that produces 355 hp and 561 Nm.

Audi has also improved the power output in Boost Mode by adding an electric motor at the rear axle. The E-Tron S crossovers can yield 496 horsepower and 973 Newton-meters of torque versus 402 hp and 664 Nm of the regular models.

The Audi E-Tron S Crossovers have a total of 3 electric motors now – one at the front and two at the rear that work all the time to power the car. The front motor kicks in when the driver needs more power or loses contraction.

With all the motors working in full capacity, the E-Tron S crossovers can run to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds on their way to a top speed of 210 kilometers per hour. Both the vehicles will use the same 95-kilowatt hours’ battery as is available in the regular model. The automaker has also added adaptive air suspension to provide extra comfort on different roads.

Audi didn’t work much on the styling of the E-Tron S models. We can only see a new front bumper with bigger inlets and a diffuser at the rear. The crossovers come standard with 20-inch wheels, while 22-inch ones are optional. The same story continues inside with a few distinguishing elements here and there.

The Audi E-Tron S crossovers are not using any price tags yet but we know they will be pricier than the regular models since they come with some mechanical upgrades.
