The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe has arrived featuring a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 pumping out 603 horsepower and 850 Newton-meters of torque. Besides, the new variant gets help from the EQ Boost 48-volt starter-generator, which adds 21 hp and 250 Nm of torque to the power output. The engine mates to a nine-speed automatic and sends power to all the wheels.
Mercedes says the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe can hit 96 km/h speed on the speedometer in 3.7 seconds only. The top speed is limited to 280 km/h.
The automaker has used standard air suspension with adaptive damping and active roll stabilization to make the journey super relaxing. The performance crossover can alter its ride height according to its drive mode and speed.
We can distinguish the GLE 63 S Coupe from the AMG’s Panamericana grille, updated lower fascia with black intakes and a slim strip of chrome trim. At the rear, we can find a black bumper with four trapezoidal exhausts. The vehicle sports 22-inch wheels with a black finish and V-shaped spokes.
Get inside and you will find Nappa leather upholstery and carbon-fiber trim to give it a sporty feel. The automaker has also updated the center control, which now features the stability control, manual transmission mode, and suspension settings. The MBUX infotainment system now shows a g-meter, stopwatch, lap timer, horsepower output, torque, engine oil temperature, and transmission oil temperature.
We don’t know anything about the price of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe. The automaker also didn’t reveal their plans for its market launch. However, we do know that the 2019 AMG GLE 63 S starts at around AED 462,785 here.
