The South Korean automotive luxury brand, Genesis unveiled its first SUV for its home market some days back and now it has made its official debut in the North American market. The good news is the all-new Genesis GV80 keeps all the striking features available in the vehicle for the South Korean markets. The only difference is in the powertrains. For the North American markets, the automaker is offering a pair of turbocharged gasoline engines. These include a 2.5L four-cylinder churning out 300 horsepower and a 3.5L V6 creating 370 horsepower.

Here in the UAE, it will rival the likes of BMW X5 and Audi Q7, giving them tough competition because of its flexibility, range of colors, and most importantly its technology. The Genesis GV80 luxury SUV is all about digitization. From a digital instrument cluster, the 14.5-inch infotainment screen, to Genesis Integrated Controller, there are many options for the driver and passengers to interact with the vehicle.

The most exciting things about the GV80 are its noise-canceling system and auto-purification system. Additionally, it has all the latest driver-assist and safety features for a safe drive.

The GV80 will feature a standard rear-wheel-drive with all-wheel as optional. Of course, it will offer different drive modes to conquer varied road conditions. The engine options for the Korean markets are a little different starting with a 3.0L turbodiesel producing 278 horsepower and 588 Newton-meters of torque.

Sales in the Korean markets are going to start soon. It should reach in North America and the Gulf States by summer.  The pricing details are unknown yet.
