The most anticipated annual event in the UAE, Gulf News Fun Drive 2020, will be held next year on January 17 with a promise of more fun and excitement. This year’s official partners are Al Futtaim Motors, Tilal Swaihan, and ADNEC. The event is named ‘Tilal Swaihan Experience.’
This year’s event is different from the previous gatherings simply because of the many ‘firsts,’ it is bringing for attendees. The first one is the ‘Overnighter’ format in the Al Ain area. The second ‘first’ is using the same location, i.e. Tilal Swaihan, for starting and ending the event. Thirdly, Gulf News Fun Drive 2020 brings new, never used before routes for the drive. And lastly, the organizers have arranged brand-new camps that are compact yet roomy and cozy.
Saud Abbasi, managing director, Al Futtaim Motors – Toyota said: “We are extremely pleased to continue our long-standing association with the Gulf News Fun Drive. Every year, the event gets bigger and better, and this edition will be no different.”
He explained: “The overnight Fun Drive provides us with another great platform to engage with our customers and truly showcase the capabilities of our off-road vehicles which are known for their durability, reliability and bullet-proof quality.”
Interested residents can register for the Gulf News Overnighter Fun Drive 2020 at https://gnfundrive.com/index/. The registration will open tomorrow at 9 am (Saturday). The entry fee for adults is Dh500, while kids under the age of 12 will have to pay Dh210. However, kids below four years of age can enter free. All charges are inclusive of VAT.
