The Japanese automaker Daihatsu is attending the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2020 with a bunch of custom vehicles including Copen, Hijet, Rocky, Tanto as well as a concept car named Taft. The concept vehicle is a boxy, four-passenger small car with a 660cc engine. The automaker says they have built it to “be active in various fields from everyday life to leisure.”

The custom Copen comes with an updated front fascia featuring bigger openings, a carbon fiber hood, a rear deck spoiler, and black wheels with refined metal rims.

The Daihatsu Rocky is equipped with a modified body kit and black streaks on the orange body.

There will be a couple of Tantos there at the show, the first being the Tanto Cross Field. It has a beige/ orange exterior and a roof rack to carry the luggage. On the other hand, the Tanto Premium focuses more on elegance.

Hijet Peaks

The Hijet, being Daihatsu’s one of the most popular models, will come at the show in three variants. The Peaks model is made complete for off-roaders. The DJ model features a sound system at the rear and a big screen for entertainment. Lastly, Daihatsu has prepared a minivan with a popup store on the inside.

This is not the first time Daihatsu is bringing custom vehicles at the Tokyo Auto Salon; last year’s lineup was equally wonderful.
