Nissan is going to unveil two Skyline Concepts – the Skyline 400R Sprint and the Skyline Deluxe Advanced at the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon, which starts January 10th next year. While the first model focuses more on sportiness, the other is a stylish cruiser for luxury-focused customers.
Talking about the Nissan Skyline 400R Sprint first, the automaker has added sporty touches all over the 400R trim level to give it a flashy appearance. The salient features include black and lime green accents throughout the exterior, 20-inch forged wheels, new front, and rear bumpers, and a prominent rear spoiler borrowed from the GT-R Nismo.
The Infiniti Q50-based four-door sedan boasts the same engine as available in the 400R, i.e., a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 pumping out 400 hp and 475 Newton-meters of torque. The Skyline 400R Sprint concept should reach 96 kilometers per hour from a standstill in 4.5 seconds.
As revealed earlier, the Skyline Deluxe Advanced concept aims to provide the top luxury facilities the buyers could get in the Skyline. This gets obvious finding the Nissan’s ProPilot 2.0 safety suite, two-tone leather inside along with exclusive two-tone paint on the exterior. Nissan didn’t reveal if it will also have the same engine as available in the 400R Sprint or would get any other V6.
Both the new Skyline concepts will be displayed for the public in Tokyo, and seeing people’s interest, they might reach production lines soon. Other cars Nissan will reveal at the show encompass the 50th Anniversary GT-R, 370Z, an exclusive NV350 van, and some Nismo models.
