Skoda has started manufacturing the 2020 Skoda Octavia, Europe’s best-selling wagon, at their leading factory in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. The automaker will create 1,150 fourth-generation Octavia cars every day. Although it will be available in two body styles i.e. Liftback and Wagon, the latter will hit the roads first due to its more popularity.

Talking about the success of Octavia, it is the company’s one of the most thriving models in the compact segment. First introduced in the classic form in 1959, the modern version came in 1996. So far, the company sold over 6.5 million units and the sales figure is increasing by 400,000 units every year.

The fourth-generation 2020 Skoda Octavia is going to spice things up next year, as the automaker plans to introduce two new exciting trims namely, the ‘RS’ and the ‘Scout’. Moreover, we will get to see Octavia plug-in hybrid model for the first time.

The new 2020 Octavia is a complete package with more tech goodies than ever before. Starting from matrix LED headlights and full-LED taillights to a head-up display and a shift-by-wire small selector, the customer has now more reasons to select this compact car.

The 2019 Octavia is available in the UAE through Ali & Sons Motors at their showrooms in Dubai and Al-Ain. It is available in four trim levels here: ‘Active’, ‘Ambition’, ‘Style’ and ‘L&K’. The prices start from AED 65,999.
