Are you all pumped up for vehicle decoration on UAE’s 48th National Day? We know everyone is excited about this day, including us. Being a responsible citizen of the United Arab Emirates, it is our duty to abide by the traffic laws and regulations, so we cannot become a safety threat on the roads. To make people remindful of the traffic rules, Abu Dhabi Police has issued a strict warning. They said, “Any vehicle that that is driven in a manner that poses a danger to others, or if they race on the roads, will result in the confiscation of the vehicle, a Dh2,000 fine, and 12 traffic points.”
To ensure security protocols are met, Police will use smart systems, radars, and intensify patrols in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra regions. Vehicle owners are advised to display vehicle decoration only from November 25 to December 6.
Brigadier-General Mohammad Dahi Al Humairi, director of the traffic and patrols directorate in the Central Operations Sector, advises motorists to follow rules to avoid penalties and stay safe on the road.
