Under this line, Aston Martin’s bespoke service, Q by Aston Martin, will create multiple limited-edition models, similar to the Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows edition.
Aston Martin has a close bond with aviation, especially with the Royal Air Force (RAF). This is the reason its three out of four factories are located at RAF stations.
Talking about the most prominent aviation project from Aston Martin Cambridge, the Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows edition was created two years back, featuring several details connected precisely to the aircraft. It had switchgear built using the undercarriage leg of a Red Arrows Hawk aircraft. The automaker only created ten examples, out of which one was sold to raise funds for the RAF Benevolent Fund. It was sold for £1.46 million.

Aston Martin President and CEO, Andy Palmer, has a solid bond with the RAF. He is also an Honorary Group Captain in 601 Squadron, Royal Air Force. Talking about the Aston Martin Wings Series, he stated: “Aston Martin will always be synonymous with aviation, from our wings logo to the heritage of our manufacturing sites across the UK. The Vanquish S Red Arrows edition was a great success for everyone concerned, and I look forward to seeing our future aviation-related special editions.”
