Before the official launch of the 2019 Dubai International Motor Show, GAC Motor held a press conference where they unveiled their flagship luxury MPV, the GN8. The event was attended by Mr. Li Xuhang – Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Dubai, Mr. Samire Gargash – chairman of Gargash group, Mr. Omar Alkazi – CEO of Mutawa Alkazi group, Mr. Waleed Aljomaih – COO of AAC, and automotive journalists.
“The Middle East has always been one of the most important overseas markets for GAC Motor, and we are honored to attend the Dubai International Motor show for the third consecutive time,” stated Zeng Hebin, General Manager of GAC Motor International Sales Company. “Today, we invite everyone to enjoy the moment with us, together realize our ideal future life.”
On the outside, the GAC GN8 boasts four LED headlights, Flying Dynamics 2.0 front grille, shiny trims on the front, and bright taillights containing 152 LEDs at the back.
The interior is roomy and luxurious, featuring a big two-piece panoramic sunroof, adjustable LED atmosphere lamps, and surround sound technology for a calm travel experience.
Although we didn’t get exact performance figures, we know the GN8 MPV carries a GAC second-generation 320T engine mated to a 6-speed transmission. The safety of passengers is ensured through six airbags, smart driving assistance, and other advanced facilities.
Talking about the other offerings, the GS5 SUV focuses on style, performance, technology, and comfort. The GN6 is made for families offering them safety, versatility, and modernity. The
Aion S is an all-electric vehicle offering more than 16,800 customization options.
GAC Motor is expanding its presence in the Middle East. The company has opened two new showrooms: one in the UAE on Shaikh Zayed Road and the other in Oman.
