The 2020 Hyundai Sonata is here wearing a starting price tag of $24,330 for the base SE trim (including $930 destination charges). The top-of-the-line Limited variant will cost $34,230. Those looking to beef up their mid-size sedan can opt for several upgrades.
Starting from the SEL trim, it carries a 2.5L four-cylinder generating 191 horsepower, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The driver safety suite is standard offering forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keep assist, lane follow assist, driver attention warning, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control.
Those who are ready to dish out $1,200 extra for convenience package will get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless device charging, and auto-dimming mirror. The $1,850 premium package adds a Bose 12-speaker stereo and heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Along with these packages, customers can opt for $1,000 panoramic sunroof that also adds a transparent top and LED interior lights.
Additionally, the 2020 Hyundai Sonata SEL Plus trim goes for $28,380 and houses a 1.6-liter engine creating 180 hp. It gives buyers the liberty to select the $2,750 Tech Package, which consists of the panoramic sunroof, led interior lighting, 10.25-inch navigation display, 12-speaker Bose Stereo, and highway drive assist.
The range-topping Limited trim has all the bells and whistles available in other packages in addition to matrix-type LED headlights, ventilated front seats, memory for the driver seat and exterior mirrors, color head-up display, and a leatherette-covered dashboard. The top trim of the 2020 Hyundai Sonata also delivers extra safety on the road through front and rear parking sensors, around-view monitor, remote parking assist, blind-spot view monitor, and rear parking collision avoidance.
