This fall, both RAM and Mopar are going Off The Grid (OTG) with 1500 Rebel OTG concept. Coming at the 2019 SEMA Show, the Overlanding vehicle is a transformation of the 2020 RAM 1500, which carries a 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine creating 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. It is enough power to conquer the different off-road challenges in the wild.

Looking at the RAM 1500 Rebel OTG Concept, we see Beadlock wheels with 35-inch Goodyear tires, a built-in winch on the bumper, and a functional snorkel. For better ground clearance, the manufacturer installed Mopar’s two-inch lift kit.

Seeing the truck from the side, shows us fender flares at both front and rear axles as well as rock rails for additional safety. What really makes the RAM 1500 Rebel OTG Concept apart is a bed rack on top of the truck bed featuring a collapsible rooftop tent. Other facilities that make it a perfect camper vehicle is a retractable battery-powered battery, gas stove, and a sink.

That’s not all! RAM has also installed an air compressor, a hide-away bed step, and a solar panel set. Being an off-road vehicle, it must provide adequate light options in the front and at the back for late hour adventures. The Rebel OTG has plenty of lights in the front and rear bumpers plus on the roof.

The Ram 1500 Rebel OTG concept will not be the only customized vehicle by Mopar on the show. There will be 13 other vehicles, which Mopar has customized to grab the visitor’s interest.
