Last month, we shared with you everything about Abu Dhabi new Toll Gates, which will be operational from tomorrow. The users were asked to made accounts on the official website and deposit a Dh100 initial fee. However, the authorities have now decided to offer free passage until January 1, 2020. It will provide motorists time to register and organize their daily commutes.
We also revealed, “Abu Dhabi registered vehicles will automatically get enrolled in the system. The vehicle owners will receive their login credentials through an SMS on their mobile numbers.” However, motorists are facing issues with the sign up lately.
From January 1, anyone passing through Abu Dhabi new toll gates will pay except senior citizens, retirees, disabled, and people in low-income groups. The monthly caps for private vehicles are set at Dh200 for the first car, Dh150, for the second and Dh100 for every additional vehicle.
