Being safe on the road has just gone beyond adding safety and driver-assist features in the vehicles. Meet Bulletproof Bentley Bentayga, which looks 100% like a standard Bentayga but can survive a blast or two effortlessly. The company behind this treatment is INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing that is famous in developing armored vehicles.

For this project, INKAS added CEN 1063 BR6 certified materials that make the new Bentayga invisible. The surprising part is, it does not look different from the standard Bentayga. Looking inside and out, you won’t feel any difference. So, what did INKAS change in this luxury SUV? They added a divider in the cargo area.

The Bulletproof Bentley Bentayga still has the same powertrain, i.e., the 6.0L W12 creates 600 horsepower and sends power to all the wheels.

“The Bentley Bentayga, when equipped with its W-12 powertrain, is one of the fastest luxury SUVs in the market today; our priority was to leverage the vehicle’s value by adding high-quality ballistic characteristics without sacrificing its technical performance,” stated David Khazanski, CEO of INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing. “We made use of INKAS’s innovative materials, which are lightweight, but at the same time certified to all globally-recognized ballistic standards. This vehicle successfully protects its passengers from assault rifles and grenades, but does not behave too differently on the road from an unarmored Bentayga.”

Customers interested in the armor package obviously have to spend extra. How much? We still do not know. However, it will be a lot higher than the standard Bentayga, which starts from AED 850,000.
