The Ministry of Energy and Industry has decided to decrease the fuel prices for September 2019. Giving consumers a little respite, all types of fuels will sell at a price lower than the prices of August 2019.

Super 98 will sell at Dh2.28 – a decrease of 9 fils while Special 95 will cost Dh2.16, a reduction of 10 fils. Furthermore, E-Plus 91 also witnessed exactly a 10 fils drop with the price fixed at Dh2.08. It is selling at Dh2.18 as we speak. The least cut in rate has been seen in diesel price, which will cost buyers Dh2.38 with a drop of just 4 fils.

Fuel prices have been unstable since the trade war between China and the U.S. started in March 2018. Lately, the prices plunged by around 20%, as we saw China tackling the situation differently.
