We have learned from CarsDirect the price for the upcoming 2020 Toyota Camry TRD. The sporty version of the standard Camry will wear a price tag of $31,995 (including destination). Toyota also announced prices for the Avalon TRD earlier this month.

Comparing the price of the 2020 Toyota Camry TRD with its rival Honda Accord 2.0T Sport, we see the former is only $355 costlier. However, the little higher price gives buyers more power on the road. The Camry TRD carries a 3.5L V6 producing 301 horsepower, while the Accord generates 252 horsepower using its 4-cylinder engine. When it comes to drivetrain, Honda excels by offering two options, i.e., a 6-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic, against Toyota’s 8-speed automatic.

Comparing Camry TRD with other variants in the model lineup, the TRD is the cheapest option for buyers looking to get the Camry with V6. However, when you go for more power with the TRD, you have to compromise on the equipment. The 2020 Camry TRD comes with the standard equipment available in the $26,995 Camry SE. Therefore, buyers won’t get navigation, driver assist package, and real leather inside.

The new Camry TRD will hit the dealerships before the end of this year. Its availability in the Middle East is not confirmed yet.
