After hinting at creating an all-electric crossover SUV in October last year, Fisker has now released a new teaser image of it with a debut date of December 2019. The automaker will launch the Fisker Electric SUV before the E-Motion, as it has plans to start production soon.
Fisker plans to bring this vehicle wearing a price tag of less than $40,000, thus putting it in direct competition with the upcoming Tesla Model Y, which will hit roads next.
The previous teaser images showed the Fisker Electric SUV had clearer lines and an indicator light fixed in the C-pillar to make it more aerodynamic and safer.
The Fisker Electric SUV will be powered by two electric motors (one at the front and one at the rear axle). For now, Fisker will install a traditional lithium-ion battery for a 300 miles range. Later, they plan to switch it with their solid-state battery, which is slated to render a 500-mile range on a single charge.
Fisker’s launch of this SUV will follow two more models before introducing their most anticipated EMotion.
