The Porsche Cayenne S Coupe is a coupe-inspired crossover from the German automaker, which sits between the base Cayenne and Turbo variants. If you are not happy with the less powered base model or do not want to pay the premium for the high-performance Turbo, you should opt for the 2020 Porsche Cayenne S Coupe. We recently got a chance to review this sporty coupe; check the video review of Cayenne S Coupe above and read on to know more about this crossover.
Similar to the S version of standard Cayenne, the S coupe retains a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 pumping out 434 horsepower (324 kilowatts) and 405 pound-feet (549 Newton-meters). For comparison, the base model generates 335 hp (250 kW) while the Turbo churns out 541 hp (404 kW). The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox powering all the wheels. If you opt for the Lightweight Sport Package, the vehicle gets slightly better in its sprint from 0 to 96 (just 0.1s).
Compared to the standard Cayenne S, the S Coupe differs in standard equipment. For instance, it comes equipped with factory installed Sport Chrono Package, eight-way sport seats, a panoramic fixed glass roof, and 20-inch wheels. You can also select between two different seat layouts.
If you opt for the Lightweight Sport Package, your vehicle gets a Sport Design body kit for the exterior, matte black air intakes and airblades, and carbon fiber parts for the roof and rear diffuser. Inside, you get a heated steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara, houndstooth seat center sections, carbon fiber cabin trim, and Alcantara headliner.
