While GMC Middle East stocked the 2019 Sierra in April, the dealers in America are going to welcome the 2020 GMC Sierra HD in the near future. The automaker has just announced prices of Heavy Duty 2500 and 3500 models and surprisingly they are lower than the outgoing models. The new Sierra HD 2500 crew cab 4×4 models are $1,800 lower.

Starting with the famous HD 2500 crew cab trucks, they will cost $41,595 with a standard bed (including $1,595 destination charge). The good news is the automaker didn’t compromise on the quality of equipment. They have actually taken a step ahead by introducing LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, power-extending trailer mirrors, the new Traction Select System, and 12 cargo tie downs.

Selecting the crew cab with long bed just enhances the price by $200. The budget buyers can go for the cheapest option i.e. the 2020 Sierra HD base trim with regular cab and the long bed configuration. It will cost them $37,195.

Not only GMC improved the exterior components, their regular 6.6-liter gasoline V-8 now offers 22 percent more torque, thus enables drivers to tow 18 percent more weight. The 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V-8 is optional.

The SLE crew cab, short-bed, 4×4 pickup starts at $45,395, the SLT at $53,995, the AT4 at $59,295, and the range-topping Denali wears a price tag of $65,295. Please note, the 2020 HD 2500 Denali is around $8,000 costlier than the outgoing model, which is partly due to the standard 4WD.

Coming to the 2020 GMC Sierra HD 3500, the automaker has made it more capable as well. The 2020 HD 3500 crew cab costs $42,795 with a short bed. The SLE is priced at $46,595, the SLT goes up to $55,195 while the AT4 starts at $60,495. The range-topping Sierra HD 3500 Denali sets buyers back $67,000. The high price here translates to more standard active safety features including the MultiPro tailgate, heated and ventilated leather front seats, the ProGrade trailering assistance system, and a heated steering wheel.

The offroading enthusiasts would be happy to play with the AT4, which boasts off-road suspension, Rancho shocks, skid plates, and an Eaton locking rear differential. Moreover, it has Michelin all-terrain tires and a Traction Select System with an exclusive off-road mode.

The 2020 GMC Sierra HD pickups will hit showrooms this summer; however, we do not know when they will reach in the Middle East.
