The Ministry of Energy and Industry UAE has announced fuel prices for June 2019. Unfortunately, the prices have increased again adding to the woes of the motorists.

Coming Saturday, Super 98 will cost Dh2.53 (5 fils up from Dh2.48 this month) and Special 95 will sell at Dh2.42 (8 fils up from Dh2.34). The diesel will sell at Dh2.56 with a rise of 3 fils.

Last week, we saw a decline in fuel prices in the international markets owing to trade issues between China and the U.S. Nevertheless, Opec drops and US restrictions on fuel exports from Iran and Venezuela-backed crude again increased the oil prices in the markets.

Next month, Opec and some of its partners are again meeting to discuss cuts in oil production.
