Mr. Khalid Mahmood Abdulrazq Mohammad Belselah has won a custom 1973 Silverado in ‘Buy and Icon, Win a Legend’ competition. He was among 100 people who bought the recently introduced special edition Silverado.
Chevrolet has been building trucks from the last 100 years and the Silverado is the company’s most successful model, which was officially introduced in 1998. To celebrate Chevy’s 100 years of brilliance in truck manufacturing, Chevrolet Middle East introduced the limited Edition Silverado for the local market. Limited to 100 units, each truck sported a number and gave buyers a chance to win a custom 1973 Silverado.
The custom 1973 Silverado is tweaked by engineers at Al Ghandi Auto to give it an exclusive look and feel.
Talking at the event, Ahmed Soudodi, Head of Brand – Chevrolet, said, “Through this campaign, we wanted to pay homage to Chevrolet’s past and to the many Silverado fans here in the region with a limited edition, regional truck. In celebrating the brand’s heritage, we have built a truck that our fans can truly be proud of and brought a classic Chevy into the 21st century with some choice customizations.”
Chevrolet trucks are not only popular in America they are equally loveable in the Middle East for their reliability and usability. For this reason, the automaker has introduced two exclusive trim levels of 2019 Silverado for the region, which include the Regular Cab Trail Boss and the RST.
