Apart from the reduction in fuel prices in January 2019, the cost of fuel is continuously increasing in the UAE. In this month alone, the prices were enhanced by 10%, with signs of more enhancements in the future. While we can’t do much about the rising prices, we can certainly buy a car which is fuel efficient. Peugeot has a perfect answer to the woes of motorists. All Peugeot vehicles are highly advanced and render matchless fuel economy, thus decreasing operational cost while offering superb performance at the same time.

The most economical of all is the Peugeot 2008 SUV delivering 15.5 km/l fuel economy. The power comes from a 1.6L engine, which hits 100 km/h in 13.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 188 km/h.

The second best on the fuel efficiency podium is the Peugeot 3008 delivering 15.1 km/l. It is powered by a 1.6L turbo engine creating 165 hp and mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Last but not least, the new sport sedan offers 14.6 km/l fuel economy through its 1.6L turbo engine. The Peugeot 508 fastback generates 165 horsepower to reach a top speed of 223 km/h. The fastback is not just economical and fast thanks to its 70kg weight reduction, it is also safer and performs optimally on the road.  The driving assists include active safety brake and distance alert, lane keeping assist, driver attention alert and active blind spot monitoring system.
