The Jeep brand brought a collection of their main new products at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. The brand has climbed up in the sales charts across Europe in 2018. They did very well in Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Portugal. It also got the distinction of the fastest growing brand in Europe last year with over 100,000 sold here. The most sold model here was the Jeep Compass followed by the Jeep Renegade and the new-generation Wrangler.

The Jeep brand has introduced special edition models too at the show to meet the demands of varied customers here. The ‘S’ range comprises of special editions of the Jeep Renegade, Compass, Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. Additionally, the Jeep brand has unveiled Trailhawk version of its mid-size Jeep Cherokee SUV for off-road enthusiasts.

At the stage, we can witness personalized models developed with Jeep Exclusive Authentic Accessories powered by Mopar® to further improve the look and feel of the Jeep SUVs. These accessories embellish the Wrangler Rubicon, the Wrangler Sahara and the Jeep Renegade Limited.

Talking about the new ‘S’ range, they all come equipped with the enhanced sporty, urban appeal and off-road capabilities. The new Jeep Renegade ‘S’ carries a 1.3-liter Turbo T4 engine producing 180 hp assisted by a nine-speed automatic transmission. The other engine options include a 150 hp 1.3-liter Turbo T4 engine, a 1.6-liter Multijet II diesel, and a 2.0-liter Multijet II 4×4.

Renegade Limited Interior

The new Jeep Compass ‘S’ houses a 170 hp 2.0-liter Multijet engine. Other choices comprise of a 1.4-liter petrol engine offering 140 hp or 170 hp, a 120 hp 1.6-liter Multijet II and a 2.0-liter pumping out 140 hp or 170 hp. A 2.4-liter petrol engine good for 150 hp or 175 hp will also be available for non-European countries.

The new Jeep Cherokee ‘S’ retains a 270 hp 2.0-liter Turbo petrol engine while the Jeep Grand Cherokee ‘S’ Limited has a 3.0-liter V6 direct injection Common Rail diesel engine with Multijet II technology. It creates 250 hp and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission Lastly, the Jeep Compass Night Eagle includes a 140 hp 1.4-liter petrol engine, an 8.4-inch / 213.66 mm Uconnect touchscreen radio and navigation system, ParkView rear camera with dynamic grid and rear parking assistance.
