The name Alfa Romeo is synonymous to the extreme performance and this is exactly the expression we are witnessing at the Geneva International Motor Show. The brand’s return to Formula 1 brings us the special ‘Alfa Romeo Racing’ limited edition Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models alongside the introduction of a new Italian driver – Antonio Giovinazzi – into the Formula 1 scene. He will join the World Champion Kimi Räikkönen.
Another elegant addition in the product portfolio is the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti, a new model signifying the pinnacle of sportiness. This car will take its place beside the Giulia Veloce Ti.
The automaker has also improved the custom game by introducing the new 2019 Giulietta. It is available in five trims and six accessory packs. Visitors can marvel at the Giulietta Executive sporting Visconti Green paintwork, and the energetic Giulietta Veloce.
The motorists who love customization would be happy to see a variety of Mopar parts and accessories.
The ‘Alfa Romeo Racing’ Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio are stars of the show going exclusive with just ten cars each. The special edition cars come equipped with unique features including the Sparco racing seats with red stitching and carbon shell structures, Mopar automatic transmission knobs with carbon inserts and leather and Alcantara steering wheels. Other prominent characteristics comprise of Akrapovič titanium exhausts, the powerful 2.9-liter V6 Bi-Turbo with deep sound, braking system with carbon-ceramic discs, ‘V’ insert in the front trefoil, side skirt inserts, kick plates (on Giulia), tinted windows, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), a Harman Kardon premium audio package, and the Alfa 3D Nav infotainment system with an 8.8-inch / 223.5 mm screen, Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™ and DAB radio.
Also showing its face at the show is Stelvio Ti (“Turismo Internazionale”) carrying a 280 hp 2.0-liter Turbo Petrol engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission powering all the wheels. The turbo unit is powerful enough to hit 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, with a top speed of 230 km/h. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce Ti also has the same powertrain as the Stelvio Ti.
Other prominent unveilings at the show include Alfa Romeo Giulietta Executive with 120 hp Euro 6D-temp 1.6-litre Multijet engine and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce with the new 170 hp 6D-temp 2.0-litre JTDTM engine.
