Aston Martin has joined hands with Swiss luxury watch company TAG Heuer and decided to create Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition to commemorate this relationship. The automaker will produce only 50 units of the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition. The sports car will sport Monaco Black paint with red accents.

Every owner of the Superleggera will get a limited edition TAG Heuer watch, the DBS Edition Carrera Heuer 02. The watch has a good resemblance with the car owing to its hexagonal cut-out face complementing the grille of the DBS and an engraved black calf leather strap emulating the interior leather of the Superleggera. Sporting red detailing, only 50 watches will be made, which will adorn the wrists of the lucky buyers.

TAG Heuer Vice President Brand and Communication, Minna Philipson remarked “TAG Heuer is about Avant Garde Innovation and Savoir Faire, and we thrive to always challenge and increase performance. The creations born from our partnership with Aston Martin, whether they are luxury timepieces or sports cars, are the perfect illustration of this commitment. With the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition, we reach a new milestone in our collaboration, and we are proud to see it wearing the TAG Heuer logo.”

Aston Martin chose the DBS Superleggera for a reason. The sports car offers a perfect combination of power and innovative design. Its 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine delivers supreme performance and handling.

Aston Martin Vice President & Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman commented: “As soon as we knew about the partnership with TAG Heuer the idea of a special edition that reflected the design cues of both brands began to form in the minds of the design team here at Aston Martin. Both brands understand the importance of meticulous craftsmanship and creating beautifully designed and engineered products and the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition reflects those values beautifully.”

As shown in the pictures, the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition sports Monaco Black paint with a satin black tinted carbon fiber roof, mirrors, vents, louvers, splitter, and spoiler. Other customized components encompass satin black 21” twin spoke wheels equipped with Pirelli P Zero tires with a red accent to match the red brake calipers. The fender embosses the TAG Heuer logo.

On the interior, the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition claims pure black leather and Alcantara seats with red stitching and tailored TAG Heuer quilting, each showing the TAG Heuer symbol. We also see a lot of use of carbon fiber and dark chrome inside.

The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition will cost a whopping £295,000 ($390K). Remember each model will be directly reviewed by the Aston Martin Lagonda President and Group CEO, Andy Palmer before it departs the assembly lines.
