On Sunday, Bentley Motors revealed details of the world’s fastest production SUV, the Bentayga Speed. The luxurious SUV will carry the famous 6.0-liter W12 engine producing 626 bhp and 900 Nm of torque. This exceptional power would enable it to hit 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The top speed now stands at 306 km/h (190 mph). Please note this is just a touch faster than the Lamborghini Urus (189.5 mph).
Designed, engineered and handcrafted in Great Britain, this is the most powerful offering from the British automaker. Bentley has distinguished it from standard Bentayga by adding dark-tint headlights, body-colored side skirts, an attractive tailgate spoiler, a dark-tint radiator and bumper grilles, exclusive 22-inch wheel design and Speed signature badging.
The interior has been enhanced with stylishly created ‘swooshes’ near the door and door grab, on the corner of the seat cushions and backrest bolsters, and on the lower console. Bentley also added a fresh contrast stitching on the diamond quilting, subtle Speed badging. They have also employed Alcantara materials for the first time.
The optional equipment includes carbon ceramic brakes, 22-way adjustable front seats with massage function, carbon fiber fascia panels, Bentley rear-seat entertainment (RSE) and mood lighting.
Talking about the drivetrain, the power goes to all the wheels and is assisted by Electronic Differential Lock. The eight Drive Dynamics modes allow drivers to drive it in different conditions, giving it a go-anywhere ability.
The Bentley Bentayga Speed will make its worldwide debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, starting from 7th March. The pricing details are not announced yet. However, it would definitely be costlier than the standard Bentayga.
