As when we were thinking the most expensive Nissan is 2019 GT-R Nismo, the automaker introduced the Nissan GT-R50 carrying a whopping price tag of $1.12 million (€990,000). This price is without taxes and any options, so be prepared to spend a lot more than this. Designed by Italdesign, only 50 units will be created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the GT-R. Nissan has started taking orders with deliveries to commence in 2019.
The production version of the Nissan GT-R50 is a little different from the prototype shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Rather than carrying that gray finish with gold accents, the production version has a blue paint job done. However, buyers will be able to customize their GT-Rs as per their liking.
Although a modified form of GT-R Nismo, the R50 advances a great deal in specs. The twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine now renders 710 hp (110 more than Nismo) and 575 pound-feet of torque (94 pound-feet more than Nismo).
The tweaks are not limited to just power, Nissan has added a revised suspension with a continuously adjustable damping Bilstein system and Brembo brakes. Other modifications consist of a strengthened six-speed dual-clutch transmission, sturdier differentials, and sturdier driveshafts essential to support the additional power.
