No doubt, the new 2019 Bentley Continental GT is an epitome of beauty and luxury. Redefining the future of Grand Touring, it retains a fully new chassis and electrical architecture. Apart from its aesthetic appeal and comfort, it truly renders a thrilling drive. To show you how good it performs on the track, we took it for a spin recently.
The new 2019 Continental GT carries a 6.0L W12 engine, which generates a mighty 626 bhp @ 5000-6000 rpm and 664 lb.ft of torque @ 1350-4500 rpm. The engine is assisted by an 8-speed Dual Clutch transmission to provide us with an unparalleled driving experience. The GT can hit 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 333 km/h.
The new Continental GT uses rear wheels for driving in the normal conditions. However, when required it can employ its Active All-Wheel Drive system for improved traction. The driving experience is further enhanced through a 48 V Active Roll Control system.
The car consumes 16.7 liters in urban conditions to cover 100 km, however, driving in the extra-urban surroundings take just 9.5 liters. The combined fuel efficiency stands at 12.2 liters per 100 km according to NEDC drive cycle.
