The British automotive brand MG Motor has announced the launch of the next generation MG6 sedan in the Middle East in late October 2018. Lately, the brand has gained popularity thanks to its new product lineup for the ME market.
The MG6 has introduced a ‘London Eye’ design concept for its headlights. The front profile consists of a ‘Star Rider’ Front grille with twin chrome exhaust pipes, and a carbon fiber trim on the front bumper. The sporty touch is visible inside with a fashionable dashboard and central console. The high-end models sport Red and black seats.
The imminent MG6 comes with many advanced features as standard. These include an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay functionality, keyless entry, push start button, tire pressure monitoring system, parking cameras, and a dual-zone climate control system including rear air conditioning vents.
The all-new MG6 will house a 1.5-liter turbo engine pumping out 169 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The engine will pair with a 7- speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DTC).
Mr. Tom Lee, Managing Director, SAIC Motor Middle East on an occasion said, “The all-new MG6 will reinforce the brand’s reputation for offering reliability and industry-leading value for money. By spending their hard-earned money on our cars in increasing numbers, customers across the region are clearly demonstrating their appreciation of MG’s line-up of good-looking, well-equipped and technologically-advanced models. This new generation model will stand out in the Middle East’s prominent sedan segment, and will help us to achieve our objective of increasing market share.”
The subsidiary of SAIC MOTOR previously introduced the MG RX5 compact SUV, the MG ZS SUV as well as the second generation MG GS for the Middle Eastern markets.
