The subsidiary of French automaker PSA Group, DS Automobiles has introduced 2019 DS 3 Crossback, which will also be available in an electric version. The subcompact crossover will make its debut at the 2018 Paris Auto Show.
The 2019 DS3 Crossback uses PSA Group’s CMP platform. The power comes from a number of gasoline and diesel engines paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The electric model known as E-Tense will offer 136 hp and 191 pound-feet of torque, which will enable the crossover to hit 60 miles per hour in 8 seconds. The electric motors are powered by a 50-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery offering 186 miles of drive range. The crossover takes 5 hours to charge completely at home. However, an 80% charge may take just 30 minutes on a fast charger.
The 2019 DS 3 Crossback is a highly advanced vehicle thanks to the amazing center console with its gearbox controls, toggle switches, electric handbrake, a smartphone charging pad, a range of storage compartments, a broad sliding armrest, a digital instrument cluster, a large infotainment screen, and a head-up display.
The driver assist features include adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, and an automated parking assistant.
To know about the price and other features, we have to wait for the Paris show.
