The brand-new BMW Z4 roadster has been revealed during the Concours d’Elegance at Pebbles Beach California. BMW showcased the roadster on 23rd August 2018 emboldening the concepts of athleticism and superior design for future generations. For the display, the automaker introduced exclusive BMW Z4 M40i First Edition. This performance edition roadster boasts a combined fuel economy of 7.1/7.4 l/100 km and it comes equipped with additional entertainment and safety features that are usually absent in performance-based M cars.

The concept for the same car was revealed at this exact same location last year. It showed BMW‘s new vision and its new design technology which focuses on practical sportiness and futuristic tendencies. Fortunately, the production version of this open-top sports car carries most of the design language from the concept roadster. The body is perfectly balanced with a 50/50 ratio. It is wide but short in length to provide drivers with an exhilarating driving experience.

The BMW Z4 M40i First Edition gets a 340 hp six-cylinder which takes the car from 0 to 100 in only 4.6 seconds. The M Sport racing suspension, electronic damper technology, M Sport brakes and the M Sport differential, provide the car the ability to perform in any situation.

On the exterior, the BMW signature kidney grille is hard to miss along with the huge bonnet that has crevices to allow air inside the engine’s air intake. Inside the brand-new BMW Z4 roadster, the placement and design of all the driving elements are smartly done to provide a true cockpit experience.

More details will be revealed by September 19 while the trade fair premiere will be organized at the Mondial de l’Automobile (4 – 14 October 2018) in Paris. The launch will happen in the Spring of 2019.
