The 2019 Honda Civic sedan and coupe models have been revealed lately. The car has got some updates, which are evident from the front fascia. The front grille panel has been changed from chrome to black gloss. The lower part of the grille has also been refreshed.
A new Sport trim has been added first time for the sedan and coupe body styles which looks similar to Sport hatchback. This trim has chrome highlights in the lower grille along with fog lights, 18-inch massive rims, and a conveniently placed mid-exhaust. We can also see a sporty spoiler on both the sedan and coupe models.
Underneath the hood of the Sport trim, Honda has abandoned the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine in favor of the 2.0-liter inline 4, which can be teamed up with either a manual or automatic transmission. Remember, for UAE markets, there is already LX Sport trim with a 1.6L engine.
The infotainment system has also received some improvements, first of which is the addition of a volume knob to the touchscreen interface.
Furthermore, Honda has included Honda Sensing in all models, which includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist. The prices for the 2019 Honda Civic are unknown. We are also not sure when it will hit the UAE roads, however, we are certain it won’t take long.
The 2018 Honda Civic sedan starts at AED 74,900 in the UAE and is available in four trim levels.
