The Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost was the vehicle that put Rolls-Royce on the radar by earning it the title of ‘the best car in the world’. In commemoration of the Silver Ghost, Rolls-Royce has decided to run a limited edition ‘Silver Ghost Collection’. This collection will consist of 35 uniquely customized Silver Ghosts. Rolls-Royce has revealed about the legendary car in a short video.
Matthew Butt, Product Manager – Ghost, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, commented, “Careful consideration has been paid to the Collection’s defining features. References extolling the past are skillfully hand-crafted into Ghost’s interior and exterior, creating a contemporary homage which speaks as much of today’s great brand as the original Silver Ghost does of its day. This is a truly remarkable Collection.”
The Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost has been the inspiration of many modern Rolls-Royce vehicles. Its position as the best-ever Rolls-Royce is clearly unmatched which is evident from the released video. Each bespoke Silver Ghost that will be created in the new collection will become a part of the legacy.
Every Ghost car will have a Hallmark of AX201, the registration number of the original Silver Ghost. This Hallmark will be placed on the base of each car and will be surrounded by a gold frame.
There is no word about the price, however, the standard Ghost wheelbase sells at AED 1,300,000 in the UAE.
