The former baseball player, Andruw Jones, asked Monster Customs to build him a monstrous 6×6 Jeep Wrangler complete with a V8 Hemi engine and a pickup bed a few years ago. This massive SUV is now up for grab as Motor Cars of Georgia Atlanta has posted an ad for its sale.
Not a lot of Wrangler’s originality was maintained when Monster Customs went on to build the customized truck. To start off, they rejected the stock 3.6-liter V6 engine and 5-speed transmission of the stock Jeep and replaced it with a more powerful and larger 6.4-liter V8 and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The pickup bed on the rear was added by installing two high-performance axles to control the weight of the modification. The ride height has also been lowered by 4.5-inches for better grip.
The exterior modifications are also plentiful with changes being noticeable in the front grille. The wheels are also larger (22-inch) and thicker. The rear end is rather simple with rectangular lights in place of the squarer Wrangler taillights.
In the interior, we see even more personalization. The steering wheel, for example, resembles a baseball with its unique red-colored stitching. The same stitching spreads through the entire interior holding the all-leather seats and dash. Everything is absolutely covered in leather.
The 6×6 Jeep Wrangler costs a fortune, thanks to all the customization, with the price tag touching $269,800 mark.
