The 2019 Cadillac XT4 SUV is ready to enter the Middle Eastern region by the end of this year expanding Cadillac’s SUV lineup to three. At present, Cadillac’s SUV offerings include their large-sized crown-jewel Escalade and the mid-sized XT5.
The XT4 was revealed not too long ago in Manhattan at the Cadillac House. The compact SUV is the first step toward Cadillac’s 10-year expansion plan, following which the marque hopes to double its number of offerings in the next four years.
Christian Soemmer, Managing Director, Cadillac Middle East, said: “When you purchase a Cadillac, you buy into a brand with a rich history, premium styling and some of the most technologically advanced vehicles on the market today. The Cadillac XT4 SUV is another example of our 10-year plan coming to life, with our latest reiteration of premium helping us reclaim our position as ‘the standard of the world’.”
Over the past few years, Cadillac has been trying to reinvigorate its brand image by changing their design philosophy and in turn, attracted more customers toward their sporty aesthetic. Over the next four years, Cadillac will introduce a new model to the automobile market every 6 months.
The XT4’s design is simple yet appealing thanks to its sharp lines and attractive curvature. The LED daylights have been added to the front and rear lights to enhance the SUV’s appeal. The interior has been given a touch of finesse with the finest materials, where the dash has been graced with modern connectivity and entertainment features.
Underneath the hood of the 2019 Cadillac XT4, buyers will find Cadillac’s brand-new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which makes 237 horsepower while being mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The fuel economy is controlled through the Cylinder Deactivation System also known as Active Fuel Management System.
There are no pricing details available for the Middle Eastern markets as of yet. Stay tuned for the updates!
