Bentley and Bang & Olufsen have joined hands to introduce the BeoSonic in the new Bentley Continental GT. The BeoSonic technology allows users to alter the sound experience in the car as per their taste using a simple touch interface.
The BeoSonic One-Touch Experience by Bang & Olufsen is a smart technology which gives users the liberty to choose from four versatile audio experiences including Bright, Energetic, Warm and Relaxed. The users can further tune the audio to their personal preferences using the white ticker on the eclipse-shaped screen. They can not only adjust the audio according to their mood but also use a pinching motion to customize the Surround intensity. Other settings allow adjustment of the whole system for front or rear passengers.
The engineers at Bentley, Harman International, and Bang & Olufsen have worked closely together to create the best sound system for the Bentley Continental GT. The entire system includes 16 speakers which are powered through a 1,500-watt BeoCore DSP amplifier.
The speakers have been adorned with intuitively designed speaker grilles while the car has laminated acoustic glass windscreen and side windows that reduce exterior sound ingress.
Ashley Blakemore, Head of Infotainment and Audio at Bentley, said: “The BeoSonic user interface allows you to change equalization based on your mood, which means fewer inputs are required to achieve their desired audio experience. When changing between sound spaces, you will instantly hear the difference: you can change from a very precise and narrow sound to a much more open and surrounding listening experience.”
