In a short promotional campaign by Dodge that ended with the release of the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye on Thursday, one thing which we could know was the price. But that mystery is resolved now. The Redeye that produces a whopping 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft torque will be available for as low as $27,295.
The base price for the Hellcat Redeye is nowhere near the Challenger Demon. The SRT Demon was priced at $86,090 but we should keep in mind the Demon was a limited edition model. Interestingly, the Redeye almost reaches the potential of the Demon in terms of power.
Customers also get the option of a wide body kit, which is part of the R/T Scat Pack available for the 2019 Hellcat Redeye. Fortunately, the regular Hellcat also gets a performance upgrade with a better-tuned engine that can now produce 717 hp instead of 707 hp and 656 lb-ft torque instead of 650 lb-ft torque.
The full option 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye will cost $71,350 and will be available from the third quarter of 2018.
