The 2019 Jeep Renegade has been released and it’s not just the pictures this time, we got the entire details. The smallest Jeep has gotten a few improvements in every department from the interior, exterior to performance and safety.

On the outside, the front grille has been refreshed but it still sports the rectangular pattern which is found in all Jeep vehicles. The fascia has also been redesigned to mimic a boxier, bulky appearance to show dominance. The headlights and fog lights are LED and so are the X pattern taillights. Jeep has expanded rim size options by offering standard 16-, 17-, 18-inch along with a new 19-inch option for the first time.

Inside the cabin, the dash has been given a slight retouch, by the addition of a smartphone holder, and revamped cup holders among other things. Furthermore, rear passengers get a USB port which has been installed at the back of the center armrest. The infotainment system varies depending on the trim, which can be found in 5-inch, 7-inch, and 8.4-inch sizes. Customers also get a Lane Sense Departure Warning-Plus and Intelligent Speed Assist with Traffic Sign Recognition as added safety features.

We have no knowledge of the Middle Eastern market Renegade specs but the Euro-spec 2019 Jeep Renegade will have a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine that makes 120 hp, a 1.3-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes either 150 hp or 180 hp, and finally two interesting diesel options.  Details pertaining to the price will be released close to the vehicle’s launch.
