The automaker Nissan has donated a brand-new Nissan GT-R to the Tochigi Prefecture police department Japan which will now be a part of their patrolling fleet. The Dubai police departments already have a GT-R and other world’s fastest cars in their fleet. Now, it seems the speed thirsty motorists in Japan have to watch out for the GT-R patrol car.

This 3.8-liter dual turbo V6 GT-R is Nissan’s gift to commemorate 50 years of its Kaminokawa factory. A large ceremony was held which was attended by both Nissan and Police officials. The sports car was present at the event where it was sporting the Japanese police’s black and white paint along with flashers on the roof and in the bumper.

The Tochigi police will not only use the 565 horsepower Nissan GT-R as a patrol car but will also want youth to take interest in sports cars.
