The McLaren 570S is already very fast but apparently, McLaren thinks differently. That’s why the sports car brand has decided to introduce a faster, more powerful new-version of McLaren 570S. Possibly, it will be called McLaren 570LT.
McLaren created some hype in the auto world when it released a teaser video and image on Wednesday. Perhaps, this car will sit between the lower-tier Sports Series and the mid-tier Super Series.
From the teaser, we see some changes in its aerodynamics. It gets a different spoiler and a split rear bumper. The exhaust has also been diverted from its original position, however, its exact position is not discernable from the teaser.
The video confirms the upgraded version will have a V8 engine but we did not get any information about its displacement and capacity. It’s not sure if 570S’s 3.8-liter M838T will get an overhaul or the 720S’s 4.0-liter M840T will get a chance but it will definitely be very powerful.
It is also unclear whether the new-version of McLaren 570S will be part of the limited-run McLaren Special Operations (MSO) or under the Sports Series moniker. Pricing and other details will be unveiled near the car’s release.
