Acura has launched the refreshed version of its RDX crossover SUV. The 2019 Acura RDX will be available for sale from today. The company hasn’t bothered much about altering the price tag. The brand new RDX costs, $38,295.

The outgoing model has nearly the same price and features AcuraWatch suite of electronic driver assists. Buyers opting for an all-wheel-drive version have to dish out $40,295. Compared to its competitors, the Volvo XC60 and the BMW X2, the RDX is a fairly good deal.

Powering the crossover is a smaller and more efficient 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine that comes replaces the 3.5-liter V6 present in the outgoing model. The new engine does a decent job of producing 272 hp and 280 lb-ft torque while being mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

There are changes inside the cabin as well. The infotainment screen has been upgraded to become more responsive. The driver’s instrument panel consists of a large 10.2-inch screen. Buyers can opt for even more amenities by upgrading to Technology or Advance packages. A 3rd package, known as A-package, is also there offering larger rims, vibrant interior colors, and a shiny black exterior paint job.

The top of the range 2019 Acura RDX wears $48,395 price tag.
