Wednesday was a special day for the folks at Bugatti as the company rolled out its 100th Chiron. The growling hypercar was revealed at the prestigious 2016 Geneva Motor Show and this feat took Bugatti slightly more than two years.
Naturally, the company made the event memorable by snapping a photo of the car with Bugatti employees at its headquarters in Molsheim, France. The particular car in the picture is created for a customer in the Middle East.
This 100th Chiron is the first ever to have matte paintwork on the exterior. The dark blue carbon and red combination highlight the hypercar’s distinct curves. Bugatti engineering, design and the special features opted by the buyer cost him a whopping $3.33 million.
The automaker will build 500 Chirons only, of which 100 have been delivered. The company is making 70 hypercars every year, so judging by this pleasant rate, it will take at least 6 more years to complete production.
It is currently unknown what’s brewing in the Bugatti design and development department but the Bugatti ex-chief had hinted toward a sedan model. As for the Chiron, Bugatti has many flavors to add in the form of ‘Sport’ and ‘Super Sport’.
