Reaching an emergency situation on time can reduce the number of fatalities. Keeping that in mind, the German automaker BMW has revealed 6 concept versions of their emergency vehicles. The BMW 6 emergency concept vehicles can be used by the police, the fire department or by paramedics as an ambulance. These 6 vehicles were unveiled at the RETTmobil 2018 in Fulda, Germany. It is a renowned event for vehicle marques to showcase their emergency vehicles and equipment.
The BMW X3 has been commissioned to be used as an ambulance or as a fire response vehicle. It comes with a built-in radio transmitter, a 230-volt utility socket, 12-volt power outlets, and a fire extinguisher at the back.
The BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer, on the other hand, has been transformed into an ambulance getting a neon white and orange paintwork, LED flashing lights behind the grille, on the dash and on the roof.
The BMW X1 built for fire-fighting personnel also has the neon orange emblazoned on its body together with a blue light flasher on its roof. It has a digital radio slot and a hidden antenna.
For the police, there is a motorbike, the BMW 750GS, which is built for quick responses. This also has blue and yellow flashers along with a police siren to get the attention of commuters.
The BMW 6 emergency concept vehicles also include a Mini John Cooper Works as part of the revelation.
