The veteran Aston Martin Vantage V600 has been rejuvenated courtesy of a customer commissioned limited series. The brand-new 2018 Aston Martin V-12 Vantage V600 is based on the actual V-8 Vantage V600 of 1998.
The Vantage V8 V600 was capable of producing 600 hp back in 1998, making it one of the most powerful sports cars of the 20th century. Now, after 20 years, Aston Martin’s customization unit ‘Q’ has received an order to manufacture 14 brand-new V-12 Vantage V600s. One-half of the ‘Triple V’ cars will be coupes while the other half will be roadsters.
The 2018 Vantage V600 is a unique blend of classic design and futuristic performance standards, making it a relentless vehicle by all standards. The exterior of the car is clothed with carbon fiber, the unique black front grille helps suck in air while the quad exhaust produces exceptional sound, complementing the car’s powerful presence. Even the interior has a mixture of carbon fiber and aluminum to allow maximum weight reduction.
Marek Reichman, Vice President & Chief Creative Officer Aston Martin said, “This is precisely why we created our ‘Q by Aston Martin – Commission’ service. Our customers can create truly bespoke sports cars by personally collaborating with myself and Aston Martin’s design team. The V600 name remains a classic in Aston Martin’s heritage and I’m proud to see it adorn the V12 Vantage V600 once again”.
The engine inside the car is Aston Martin’s very own 6.0-liter V12 that expels 600PS of power. A 7-speed manual transmission and all-new front and back suspension with dampers help the car run as smooth as silk.
The 2018 Aston Martin V-12 Vantage V600 can be ordered by interested customers with deliveries taking place in the 3rd quarter of the year.
